My dad has a Vietnam Museum and needed a way to pull more traffic and this flag pole was perfect. It is a great height and displays the flag perfectly.It is a great size and looks great. It was easy to put together and attach the flag.
I obtained this flag pole for use in holding decorative flags at campsites/beaches when we are traveling with our RV. My review is from that standpoint rather than considering something that might be up 24/7 at a commercial business.Likes:- First, and most important to me, the quality and weight of the spike section. The spike is nice and heavy and should hold up well to hammering. I would be more concerned about my ability to pull it out once in place than with the ability of the material to hold up to be hammered into the ground. Fortunately the metal bars that connect the spike to the flag holder should be useful in case I needed to use another item to help pull it out of the ground. The nice heavy spike is a big plus for me.- Easy to assemble. The pole sections slide in to place and are held together with metal ball detents.- The material is thick enough to do the job but also be lightweight. I will note again that I am looking at this from the standpoint of occasional use instead of something that would be in place 24/7. But even with heavier use I think it will hold up well.Dislikes: NoneNote - When considering flags for this pole make note of the pole diameter and the diameter of the slot on the flag. For a test I used a flag meant for a smaller pole and while it did go on it was a tight fit. Also note that flags meant for shorter poles or poles with flexible ends may not display well with this item. I guess I am saying the obvious to make sure any flags you order are made for this pole.I am happy with this pole set and look forward to using it as part of our camping decorations.
This feather flag pole set was great! Put the stake in the ground feed the pole thru the flag and no need to worry! Did a great job!! I was very impressed!

I needed this for my 8ft feather flag. There is a slight snug but it does its duty. The material is strong but light enough to carry. Love it
